Universe Vase in Porcelain. The Universe Vase finds its inspiration in a very specific Mayan vase, which justifies its name. The original vase features a decoration representing the creation of the world, a theme deeply rooted in Mayan cosmology. The choice of this name is based on the purpose of capturing the very essence of how the Maya conceived the origin of the cosmos.

About the porcelain: The paste used to manufacture Cacharro products is a formula created in their workshop. Arriving at this formula took seven years of materials research. To achieve this high-quality paste, nearly 250 different formulas were explored. All of their pieces are fired at 1,250°C, guaranteeing that the glaze is fully vitrified and highly resistant, with 0% porosity to ensure surfaces free of bacteria and fungi.

About the glazes: All glazes, also developed in their workshop, are 100% compatible with the ceramic body. The glaze colors are obtained by incorporating metallic oxides that fuse into the glass layer, forming the surface of the pieces. For example, their White glaze is the base that allows the porcelain\'s whiteness to show through. Colored glazes, such as No. 16, are composed of the base glaze along with a percentage of cobalt oxide, which gives it that distinctive deep blue color.
