In Japan in the early 1920s, \"sashiko\"stitched fabric was used as the base cloth for first to third base. In order to reproduce this, we commissioned a martial arts equipment manufacturer established in 1918 to complete a \"sashiko\" fabric woven on a special loom using No. 20 cotton yarn twisted to the limit in order to produce a distinctly uneven surface. It is then paraffin-waxed and bio-washed to soften the texture for easy wear. A large pocket is placed from the waist to the hips resembling a baseball ump\'s pants.
