The Flight of Freedom is a design I created 2 years ago- a luxurious velvet dress with a dramatic 5.5-yard skirt. This design went through multiple restructurings as gathering such a large amount of thick velvet at the waist was incredibly challenging.
Creating it took much more time and effort than I originally expected, which makes me even happier to finally share it with you.
There are many types of velvet, and I chose a super soft, stretchy kind for both comfort and elegance. And yes — it has two hidden pockets! 💖
